Knitting Looms come in a variety of shapes, sizes, & manufacturing details. For generations Knitting Looms have been used for creating lovely & useful articles throughout Europe & Asia. We are now enjoying a resurgence of these simple, useful little tools.
Hummersley Looms are handcrafted wooden Knitting Looms, ready for use & ready to be passed down as an heirloom. Each loom comes with simple instruction & patterrn for use.
You need not be able to knit with knitting needles to use a loom, in fact Knitting Looms are often referred to as " Knitting without needles" Looms are simple to use & with practice you can invent new stitches & designs with a minimum of effort. You can knit in the round or flat pieces. Afghans, scarves, mittens, socks, hats, slippers, ponchos, sweaters & coats are just an example of items you can create on a Knitting Loom.
Looms are perfect for non-knitters, children & those who are no longer able to knit due to mild physical obstacles, and experienced knitters love them, too. NO experience is necessary for use of these simple little looms. NONE! Looms are easy enough to use by most 4 yr. olds & still fun to use at 94.
